With LASIK, patients feel their eyes are watery or scratchy for a few hours after the procedure. We encourage patients to sleep. When they wake up, a few hours later, the sensitivity is better and vision is already improving. With PRK, patients feel their eyes are light sensitive, watery and have a foreign body sensation for a few days after their procedure. They are given lots of medicines to reduce the discomfort and are encouraged to take vitamin C to the help the healing.

Lastly, the cost of laser vision correction varies with the procedure. 0 down, 0 interest financing plans make LASIK more affordable than ever.
